waiting for a rainy day

Last weekend had me longing for the warmer and wetter days of spring because of theory's douglas trench I purchased while down in NYC.

Here are some accessories I've been eyeing to play with in the rainy days to come.

smart goods for life

Vessel is a gem of a design store that every Bostonian must check out. They carry a little bit of everything from Blu Dot furniture, a range of OXO candela products, to a wide variety of Phaedon books. For those in the Boston area check them out at their original Kingston St. location or their recently opened South End location. They have a small online presence for those that can't make it to the brick and mortar store.

zuriick

I picked up a pair of zuriick's ake dust today. I'm not sure if it's the sign of the times, but I'm loving the simple, classic designs of late.

let's try this again, shall we?

Posts are on the way.

Hello.

In upcoming posts I hope to share and encourage discussion on an array of different examples of design that I hope readers will also find fascinating / beautiful / inspiring / funny / brilliant / ugly. Enjoy.

A credenza is not a flower

For my inaugural post I thought I'd start off with a piece of furniture that I have drooled over for quite some time, roughly 3 years. BDDW's Lake Low Credenza. It's sexy blend of sleek white lacquer, Osage Orange, and ebony. An array of other configurations of beautiful materials are available, so you're only limited by your imagination and at $7,000, your bank account balance.
